Nottingham is absolutely spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out — which makes choosing the “best” restaurants almost impossible.
Naturally, I decided the only sensible thing to do was eat my way around the city in the name of research. From local favourites to places that deserve a bit more attention, I’ve pulled together my own pick of the restaurants I think are well worth shouting about.
Will everyone agree? Almost certainly not. That’s half the fun.

Pistachio
Pistachio is a small family-run restaurant serving dishes created by the flavours and popular dishes from Iran with an added modern twist.
The menu is bursting with options and features loaded hummus with spring onions, feta cheese and pomegranate or why not try the special mixed grill with a lamb fillet, two lamb chops, two chicken wings and chicken breast marinated in saffron, garlic and onion!

Everyday People is a laidback ramen shop situated in the heart of Nottingham.
