About Wollaton Hall and Deer Park

Wander through a grand Elizabethan mansion, natural history museum and sweeping deer park just outside the city centre.

Wollaton Hall rises dramatically above hundreds of acres of parkland. The Grade I listed Elizabethan mansion houses Nottingham’s Natural History Museum, while the surrounding deer park gives you plenty of room for a walk, picnic or slow afternoon outdoors. Film fans may recognise the hall as Wayne Manor from The Dark Knight Rises. With historic interiors, wildlife and wide views all in one place, it works equally well for families and history lovers.
